A new café offering all-you-can-eat freshly baked bread has opened inside Seijo Corty, a shopping complex directly connected to Seijogakuen-mae Station on the Odakyu Line.
The café we’re featuring today is H.Q CAFE Seijo, located on the second floor. After its recent renovation, it has been reborn as a bread buffet-style café.

The biggest highlight is undoubtedly the bread buffet, available for just ¥780 (about $5).
You can enjoy unlimited bread for up to 2 hours. Walk-ins are accepted, but since it’s quite popular, making a reservation in advance is highly recommended.
If you prefer a quieter experience, visiting between 3:00 PM and 4:00 PM is your best bet.

Once you enter the café, the staff will explain how the bread buffet works.

Set meals with dishes
On weekdays, set meals with food are offered at even better value, so don’t miss out.

The variety of bread is impressive.
From simple options like baguettes and rye bread to more indulgent choices such as cheese domes, pão de queijo, croissants, cheese danishes, and chocolate danishes—there’s something for everyone.
There are also mini rolls in flavors like plain, sesame, and basil, making it hard to get bored no matter how many times you go back for more.
As for the taste, everything is satisfying in its own way.
The cheese danish has a delicious sweet-and-savory flavor that keeps you coming back.
The pão de queijo is wonderfully chewy, while the croissant is crispy on the outside and soft on the inside.
The churro sticks are crunchy and fragrant, and the chocolate danish is rich enough to feel like a dessert.
For an additional ¥50, you can add a set of whipped butter and jam, which enhances the bread experience even more.

The drink bar is also well-stocked.
Water is free, and unique options like guava juice, yuzu honey drink, and pomegranate juice are available.
You’ll also find coffee, café latte, tea, and even soup.
The light consommé soup pairs perfectly with the bread.

Another great feature of this café is that it offers more than just bread.
The food menu is extensive, with popular dishes like hamburg steak and beef steak.
On this visit, we tried the simmered hamburg steak, which was juicy and tender, coated in rich demi-glace sauce.
Dipping the bread into the sauce makes it even more delicious.
In addition to that, the menu includes pasta, doria, gratin, salads, desserts, and even kids’ meals.
It’s a versatile spot suitable for many occasions.
Alcohol is also available, so you can even enjoy a casual drink with your bread.
With its unbeatable value bread buffet and the option to combine it with satisfying dishes, H.Q CAFE Seijo is a must-visit spot.
Its convenient location directly connected to the station makes it easy to stop by anytime.
If you love bread, this is definitely a café worth checking out.
