If you’re looking for a great value all-you-can-eat spot in Shibuya, Turn Table is a hidden gem you won’t want to miss. This cozy restaurant showcases ingredients from Tokushima Prefecture and offers a शांत, relaxed atmosphere despite being located in the heart of the city. It has become a popular spot for those seeking a peaceful dining experience away from the crowds.

At lunchtime, you can enjoy a salad buffet starting from just ¥1,540—an incredible deal for Tokyo. Even better, there’s no time limit (90 minutes during busy periods), so you can dine at your own pace without feeling rushed. If you order a main dish, the salad buffet is included, making it perfect for those who want a more filling meal.

One of the highlights is the selection of fresh vegetables delivered directly from Tokushima. Alongside classics like sunny lettuce, mizuna, and tomatoes, you’ll also find nutrient-rich options such as organic broad beans and quinoa. Having unlimited quinoa is a particularly nice bonus.
The menu also features regional specialties like chirimen-jako (tiny dried sardines), Naruto wakame seaweed, and simmered shiitake mushrooms—made with Tokushima’s top-quality mushrooms, which boast the highest production in Japan. Each dish is simply seasoned to bring out the natural flavors, making you want to go back for seconds again and again.
A standout dish is the hearty tonjiru (pork miso soup), packed with Awa pork and plenty of root vegetables. It’s comforting, flavorful, and deeply satisfying. There’s also a unique vegetable shabu-shabu option served in a special broth—especially memorable when enjoyed with a slightly spicy curry soup that quickly becomes addictive.

All dressings are homemade, with three varieties available: sesame, carrot, and onion. The carrot dressing in particular stands out, offering a natural sweetness and umami that enhances the flavor of the vegetables.
For dessert, you’ll find items like bread pudding, orange jelly, and kanten (agar jelly). These light and refreshing options are perfect for finishing your meal on a satisfying note. A drink bar is also included, so you can relax with coffee or oolong tea after eating.

On this visit, we also ordered main dishes: a seafood rice bowl and an oil-based pasta with boiled whitebait. The seafood bowl featured fresh selections like sudachi yellowtail, Naruto sea bream, Japanese sea bass, and cuttlefish—each offering excellent quality and flavor. The whitebait pasta had a well-balanced saltiness that paired perfectly with the noodles.

Inside, the restaurant has a calm and welcoming atmosphere, with both second-floor seating and window-side tables available. It’s an easy place to drop by and unwind, which adds to its appeal.
Finding an all-you-can-eat option like this in Shibuya at such a price is truly rare. It’s especially recommended for those who want to enjoy plenty of vegetables or are looking for a high-value lunch experience.
